How to order locks for my doors?

Scroll to bottom of page to the PRODUCT OPTIONS Menu’s there.  You MUST make a selection from each menu available.

The Product Options are: Function, Handing, Keying and Handle Set Interior Trim.

What are product “Functions”?

Keyed Entry: For use on doors that open to the outside.  Prevent entry from the out side when locked by key.  They can also be locked from the inside without a key.

Privacy: For use on bedroom and bathroom doors.  They can be locked from the inside only when Privacy is desired.

Passage: For use on doors which will never be locked (closets, pantry, nursery etc.).  They can be opened by knob or handle from either side.

Dummy: For use where no latch is installed (one side of double door set, closet doors with no latch). Knob or handle does not turn; used to pull open or push shut.

What is “Handing”?  How is it determined?

The “Handing” Option appears only on certain lever handles which are made for Left or Right hand doors.

A Left Hand door has its LEFT SIDE hinged to the Door Jamb when seen from the OUTSIDE.

A Right Hand door has its RIGHT SIDE hinged to the Door Jamb when seen from the OUTSIDE.

What are “Keying Options”?

Key Alike:  Choose this if you want all your Keyed Entries of the same product to open on the same key. CONTACT US If you wish ALL products in your order on the same key

Key Different:  If you are only ordering one Keyed Entry or if you prefer that they require different keys to open

 What is “Handle Set Interior Trim”?  

When you order an entrance “Handle Set” you have the option of having the knob or lever on the inside match the other knobs or levers you have chosen.

If you do not make an option your Handle Set will have a Tahoe (ball-shape) knob included.

Can I simplify the order process?

Click “My Door List” at the bottom of Home Page for a worksheet to list every door you will put a lock on.

Print a copy of “My Door List” and use it to keep a record of how many of each item you need.

Complete the Product Options Menus for each door type from your list.

As you put each item into the shopping cart, enter the number of locks for that type from your list.
